ABOUT MEMBERSHIP
Gallery A3 is a contemporary art gallery run by its members. All members actively participate in the gallery’s activities, contributing time to its operation, including gallery sitting and a monthly work contribution.
Applications for membership are juried based on the digital and in-person portfolio presented by the applicant. Jurying is competitive. We are looking for strong work and exhibition history. Please follow the instructions carefully and send us images that show your work to its best advantage. Before applying, see if Gallery A3 is a good fit for you by visiting the space and talking to some members. If you are selected for the second round, please bring original work to the gallery. We ask for:
MEMBERSHIP LEVELS
FULL membership - $575/year
Benefits include a three-year exhibit cycle of solo show, two-person show, skip year; group shows, participation in shows at GoBerry ‘n Cream. Responsibilities include gallery sitting twice a month, voting, monthly work contribution (2-3 hours).
HALF membership - $375/year
Benefits includes two-person shows in alternating years, group shows, participation in shows at GoBerry ‘n Cream. Responsibilities include gallery sitting once a month, voting, monthly work contribution (1-2 hours).
Both levels include promotion of your show through press releases, social media, and the gallery website; a personal page of your work on gallery web page; regular exhibition opportunities at GoBerry 'n Cream; help with hanging and opening receptions; art forums; professional networking; and a gallery portfolio book.

- a portfolio of 10-15 images showing your best recent work,
- a numbered list of ALL images with size, materials and date,
- a resume,
- an information sheet including:
- your contact information,
- an artist’s statement,
- and a brief explanation of your interest in joining our gallery, including skills or interests that might be relevant to the gallery’s operation.
Second Round Application:
If you are selected for the second round, please bring original work to the gallery. We ask for:
- five original, recent works delivered to the gallery during the announced dates,
- a numbered list of the works.
