THE WORLD OF WATER: Window Exhibition
For a group show in May and June, Gallery A3 looks to the world of water—its great power and beauty, its essential abilities to sustain and destroy life, and its qualities of transparency, reflection, and refraction.
Work inspired by water includes a wire mesh fish shimmering with copper spots, landscape paintings depicting a pond and all the life it supports, and an abstract view of water, distorting the world around it.
Zoom Art Forum at Gallery A3
In conjunction with The World of Water, Gallery A3 offers an online Art Forum, Prose, Poetry and Art, on Thursday, May 20, free and open to the public.
Essential to life on earth, water takes many forms, and it shifts freely from solid to liquid to gas. Gallery A3’s Art Forum in May celebrates that shape-shifting aspect with work in different art forms. Along with visual artwork created for the exhibit, members of Gallery A3 will read poetry and flash fiction exploring the varied qualities of water.
